Who we are

Aceso is operated by Philip Faulkner trading as Netizen 9. We provide a travel health information and referral platform for travellers in Asia. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number C1901798.

What data we collect

• Geolocation data — your approximate country and city, derived from Cloudflare edge headers. We do not use GPS or request precise location.
• Usage data — pages visited, wards accessed, procedures searched and AI queries made. Stored anonymously in aggregate.
• Affiliate click data — when you click a partner link, we log a click reference, the destination country and timestamp. No personal identifiers are stored.
• Language preference — stored in your browser's localStorage only. Never transmitted to our servers.
• AI chat messages — messages sent to the AI concierge are processed by OpenRouter and subject to their privacy policy. Do not include personal medical information.

What we do not collect

• Your name, email address or contact details
• Payment or financial information
• Medical records or health conditions
• Device identifiers or persistent cookies

How we use your data

• To show you locally relevant hospitals, providers and emergency numbers
• To track aggregate platform usage for improvement purposes
• To process affiliate referral attribution with partner providers

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party processors

• Cloudflare — infrastructure, edge geolocation, Workers, D1, KV, R2
• OpenRouter — AI concierge message processing. OpenRouter's DPA is available at openrouter.ai. Messages are not stored permanently by Aceso.

Data retention

Anonymous analytics events are retained for up to 12 months. Affiliate click logs are retained for up to 24 months for reconciliation purposes. No personally identifiable data is retained.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase data held about you. As we do not collect personally identifiable data, most rights are satisfied by default. For any query, contact: dodecahedron108@gmail.com
